RE: Polyethylene Resin Price Increase Effective July 1, 2008
Dear Valued Polyethylene Customer:
Due to continued rising energy and feedstock costs, effective July 1, 2008, The Dow
Chemical Company ("Dow") will increase prices by U.S. $0.07/lb for all polyethylene
resins sold in the United States. This price increase is in addition to all previously
announced price increases, including the most recent U.S.$0.05/lb announced for June
1 implementation.
Products included in this price increase are as follows:

Dear customer,
The following will serve to update you on NOVA Chemicals’ polyethylene pricing.
On June 1, 2008, NOVA Chemicals will implement the previously announced price
increase of five cents ($0.05) USD per pound. This increase will apply to all grades of
LLDPE, HDPE and LDPE polyethylene resins.
This increase is in addition to the three cents ($0.03) per pound increases previously
implemented on both April 1, 2008 and May 1, 2008.
Orders will be accepted based upon historical averages and our ability to supply.
